Iesha is from Rock Hill, South Carolina, and studied Business Management during her college studies at Clemson University. She's excited to hit the road, and is looking forward to helping bring in the next class of College of Charleston students. 

We encourage homeschooled students and students interested in taking a gap semester/year to contact Iesha to discuss what we look for, or any questions as it relates to homeschooling and taking a gap semester/year.

What did you study in college?

Major: Business Management, Minor in Mathematical Science & Nonprofit Leadership.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

When choosing a college, select an institution that you can see as your home for the next 4 years.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

Cistern Yard.

What hobby do you wish you had more time for?

Painting.

What is your favorite place to eat in Charleston?

Charleston Crab Shack!

What is the best advice you've been given?

Don't make a decision based on comfort. Make decisions that will challenge you and push you towards a better version of yourself.

What is the moment you knew you were a Charlestonian?

When I could navigate through downtown Charleston without using my GPS.

What is the last great book that you have read?

Lead from the Outside by Stacey Abrams.

If you weren't an admissions counselor, what would you be?

A wedding planner!
