Arian is originally from Córdoba, Argentina and is fluent in Spanish (Hablo Español!). He moved to Colorado in January 2004 to earn his M.B.A. from Colorado State-University-Pueblo and later moved to Charleston in November 2014. He loves meeting new people and learning new cultures.

Where are you from? 

Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina.

What did you study in college?

B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a M.B.A.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

There many scholarships available to students, be sure to do your research!

What advice do you have for parents of prospective students?

They are going to be fine, and they will have a wonderful experience at the College of Charleston.

What is your favorite Charleston tradition?

Graduation is held annually over Mother's Day Weekend.

What hobby do you wish you had more time for?

Furniture building and restoration.

What is your favorite place to eat in Charleston?

Las Lupitas.

What is the best advice you've been given?

Respect and integrity.

What is your favorite off-campus hangout?

My parents home on a Sunday afternoon.

What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?

Gael García Bernal or Javier Bardem.

Do you have pets?

Yes! A Pom-Chi named Zumi.

What talent do you have that would surprise your friends?

I enjoy entertaining my family and friends.

What is the moment you knew you were a Charlestonian?

When I was hired to work for the College of Charleston!

What is the hardest class you have ever taken?

Differential Equations.

If you could go to college again, what major would you choose?

Psychology and Foreign Languages.

What is the last great book that you have read?

Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates.

If you weren't an admissions counselor, what would you be?

I would love to be a day time TV sitcom actor.
