Junior Project

Junior Project is a weeklong, summer college preparatory program serving AALANA and first generation students who are rising high school juniors. Junior Project will be held June 11-13, 2023. Check in will begin at 1pm.
Program participants will:
- Spend four days and three nights on campus.
- Interact with current College of Charleston students.
- Attend interactive leadership workshops.
- Learn valuable time management, writing and essay skills.
- Experience all Charleston has to offer!
Apply by May 31 for your application to be considered.
You are not automatically admitted to Junior Project; you must first apply.
Once you submit your application, you’ll receive an email confirming that we’ve received your application. THIS IS NOT A CONFIRMATION OR GUARANTEE OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PROGRAM. Instead, you’ll be considered WAIT-LISTED until you’ve completed the application process and been accepted into the program.
For your application file to be complete, we must receive your online program application, high school transcripts, and standardized test scores (optional). Please upload these documents into the application.
Once you've been accepted to Junior Project, you'll have to submit the $200 program fee and participation forms to attend (we'll email you all the details!). You can mail your program fee to: College of Charleston, Treasurer's Office, 66 George St., Charleston, SC 29424. Please make checks payable to College of Charleston and include Junior Project in the memo.
