A Virginia native, Rebecca became a part of the Cougar family in 2011 when she began her undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston. She quickly fell in love with the College and became an active member in the campus community- holding positions such as Student Assistant Director for Orientation and working with organizations such as Student Alumni Associates and the Men’s Basketball Team.
After serving as an Orientation Intern the summer after her freshman year, Rebecca found her passion for higher education. Following this passion, she became an Admissions Representative for the Office of Admissions during the 2015-2016 academic year, and began pursuing her Masters in Higher Education at Northeastern University. She is now delighted to officially join our team of stellar Admissions Counselors and looks forward to building relationships with our prospective students.
Rebecca’s admissions tip: When applying to colleges and finding the right school, students should have an open mind. With an open mind you can explore the liberal arts experience and diverse locations and sizes, which may lead students to a decision that is completely different than what they initially thought they wanted.
