Laura has been with College of Charleston since 2002 and is based in the upstate of South Carolina. In addition to recruiting freshman to the College, she works closely with our transfer programs. Prior to coming to the College, Laura worked as a counselor for the International Baccalaureate Organization within local high schools and with non-profits facilitating pre-college counseling for underrepresented populations.

Laura's admissions tip: Visit the schools you feel you really have a strong interest in, and do not rely on the perceptions of your friends.  Find your counselor from your top choice institution and reach out to them. Remember: they will eventually be the person to review your application!
