Prior to joining the Office of Admissions at the College of Charleston in October 2007, Heather was living and teaching in New York and Connecticut. She was a member of the CofC Parent Advisory Council where she served as chair of the Admissions subcommittee for seven years, supporting recruitment. The fact that three sons decided to make Charleston their home after graduating from the College of Charleston prompted her to relocate here with her husband. Now serving as the liaison to the Parent Advisory Council, Heather collaborates with the Offices of Alumni, Development and other campus constituencies to expand the Cougar PAWWS volunteer program.
Tip for prospective students: Research and visit as many schools as you can to find the ones you believe to be the best “fit” for you and only apply to those schools. Where you feel comfortable, you are more likely to be happy and successful.
