Prior to his return to Charleston, Mr. Foster served as dean of admissions and orientation at Northeastern University. He previously served as director of freshman admissions at the College of Charleston and associate director of admissions at George Mason University. Mr. Foster has also spent time working on political campaigns, including a U.S. Presidential campaign during the Iowa caucuses and a U.S. Senate race in Alaska where he served as deputy field director. He has presented at national professional development conferences including NACAC, ACT, NRCCUA and Noel Levitz.
In March 2012 and 2014, he was able to combine his passion for English football and working directly with first-year students when he co-presented an eight week long seminar that culminated in leading a study abroad experience to the United Kingdom with 13 first-year students based on the theme of the economics of soccer. He looks forward to taking a new group of students in 2015.
Mr. Foster and his wife reside in Charleston, S.C. and have two children.
