College of Charleston '12, B.A. Corporate and Organizational Communications

I was born just down the street at MUSC in Charleston, S.C. and the city hasn’t been able to get rid of me since. Growing up I spent a lot of time in the city and at the beaches in the area. I love any and all sports, watching them and playing them, especially soccer and ping-pong. Prior to my job in Admissions, I conducted graduate research for advanced health communications.

How does what you studied connect with your career?: At the heart of communications are the relationships that we create with those we come in contact with. I intend to make a lasting impact on every person that I meet during my travels.

A.C.'s Admissions Tip: It’s easy to find something you love about every campus you will visit. Make sure you evaluate all of your options before you make your decision. Wherever you decide will be the best 4 years, or 5 in some cases, of your life.

What A.C. Likes Best About CofC: It’s such a small and tight knit community, but you can always manage to meet someone new every day.

Favorite Thing to Do in Charleston:  Bury my feet in the sand at Folly Beach and take a deep breath of Charleston; it always goes down smooth.

Favorite Charleston Restaurant: Hominy Grill

Favorite Song: River of Dreams

Fun Fact: I am a Muay Thai kick boxer.
