Campus Tours
During your campus tour, you'll hear the story about a cannonball that almost interrupted classes, find out when our students wear all white, and where to catch a movie crew filming on campus.
Campus tours start at Admissions in Craig Hall, 65 George Street (number 91 on our campus map). An admissions counselor will start your tour with a 30-minute information session. Then one of our student tour guides will take you on a 75-minute walking tour of campus. Usually you'll visit a residence hall, the library, classroom buildings and the Stern Student Center. Please allow two hours for your visit.
Our tours are very popular! So be sure to reserve your space at least two weeks prior to visiting campus. Once you've signed up, we'll send you an e-mail confirmation with additional information. We offer tours year round on weekdays and some Saturdays. Before making your travel plans, check our tour calendar for available dates and times. Then make your tour reservation.

On days that we don't host campus tours, you can download a self-guided walking tour map, or pick one up from Admissions in Craig Hall at 65 George Street (#91 on the map).
City Slicker iPhone App
Welcome to the very first interactive and self-guided university campus tour App for the iPhone and iPod touch. Featuring videos, photos, and more than 20+ beautiful locations on the historic College of Charleston campus, the tour is directed by students.
Titled “College of Charleston Tour,” the App is a free download available on iTunes that features Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) assistance, 18 videos of campus and nearly 60 images of life at the College of Charleston. You can follow the tour while you are on campus, or watch it from anywhere, anytime.

Honors College Information Sessions
If you are interested in learning more about our Honors College, we encourage you to contact them directly. More information about Honors College information sessions can be found on the Honors College website or calling (843) 953-7154.
Group Tours
We are happy to arrange special tours for groups sponsored by a particular school or organization. If you are coming on your own, with parents or friends, please register for one of our regularly scheduled campus tours. Group tours are available on weekdays and are scheduled only on days when normal tours are also available (no holidays or information session only days). Please consult our group tour calendar to ensure your preferred date is available before requesting a group tour. Please complete the group tour request form in order begin the process of setting up your campus visit. *Please note that submitting this form does not confirm your plans, your visit has not been confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from our visit coordinator.
Class Visits
If you want to get a taste of what the academic experience is like at the College of Charleston, you can arrange to attend a class in your area of interest. Be sure to check our academic calendar to make sure classes will be in session on the day you plan to visit. To schedule your class visit, check out the available class list and then fill out our request form. Please give us at least two weeks to arrange your visit.
