You’ll be spending most of your time in and around the main campus, which is in the heart of downtown Charleston.

Parking will be limited for ASW to Gailliard, Aquarium and Visitor's Center (Meeting St.) garages. Parking will not be validated.

There are more than 100 buildings on the main College of Charleston campus. However, during Accepted Student Weekend, access will be limited to about 20 of them. You can use this map to get an idea of where they are in relation to the entire footprint of the College.

As the No. 1 tourist destination in the U.S., downtown Charleston and the surrounding area offer a wide range of accommodations for visitors. Many of the hotels and inns on the peninsula are within walking distance of campus, and many of them offer discounted rates for families and individuals attending official College of Charleston events. When making reservations, remember to mention that you'll be in Charleston for a College of Charleston event so that you can take advantage of any applicable discounts.

The weather for Charleston in early March is expected to be? Wait for it ...

Sunny, breezy and mild. We hope.

So that you can come prepared, keep checking the weather forecast for the region. Probably until the last minute, because early spring can be very unpredictable in our neck of the woods.
